Disaster recovery capabilities may be provided through other Microsoft Azure regions. Microsoft acts as a data processor under applicable Swiss and European data protection laws pursuant to Microsoft's Data Protection Addendum.
3. Intellectual Property
All elements constituting the Civyx platform, including but not limited to software, source code, texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, databases and documentation, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, all rights are reserved.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, translation, public display or commercial exploitation of any part of the platform without prior written authorization is prohibited.
The name "Civyx", its logo and associated visual identity may not be used without authorization.
4. Hyperlinks
The platform may contain links to third-party websites and services. Such links are provided for informational purposes only. Civyx does not control these external resources and assumes no responsibility for their content, availability, security or compliance with applicable laws.
5. Limitation of Liability
Civyx is a platform intended to facilitate connections between volunteers, associations and, where applicable, supporting organizations.
Civyx is not the organizer of activities published on the platform and does not supervise, manage or control events organized by associations or other users.
Associations remain solely responsible for the organization, safety, legality and execution of their activities.
Users participate in activities at their own responsibility.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of uninterrupted availability, absence of errors or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform, except where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
The platform operator is not responsible for content, documents, messages, descriptions, images or information published by users.
6. Recognition Points
Recognition points available on the platform are intended solely as a community engagement mechanism.
Recognition points:
- have no monetary value;
- are not legal tender;
- cannot be redeemed for cash;
- do not constitute salary, compensation or employment remuneration.
The platform operator reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the recognition points system at any time.
7. Governing Law
These legal notices are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory legal provisions, any dispute relating to the platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
8. Updates
These legal notices may be amended from time to time. The version published on the platform at the time of consultation shall prevail.
